Full review

The plain Roomba 105 Vac keeps ClearView LiDAR navigation and iRobot's 3-stage cleaning system but drops the AutoEmpty dock entirely, which is what brings its price down to $149 — the cheapest LiDAR-equipped product in this whole catalog. It recharges and resumes automatically if it runs low mid-clean, and a spot-clean mode targets a single area for up to 5 minutes.

At 200 minutes of stated runtime it matches the AutoEmpty version's battery life, so the trade-off here is purely about dock automation and price, not cleaning performance.

Pros

  • Cheapest LiDAR-mapped product in this entire catalog ($149)
  • 200-minute stated runtime, tied for the longest among iRobot models here
  • Recharge-and-resume for larger homes
  • 1-year manufacturer warranty

Cons

  • No self-empty dock — bin must be emptied by hand after every run
  • No mopping function
  • No Pa suction figure published
Ideal for: A budget buyer who specifically wants LiDAR mapping and app/voice control from iRobot without paying for a self-empty dock.
