Where the data comes from
Every product record starts from its Amazon listing: title, price, star rating, review count, feature bullets, the technical spec table, and a sample of customer reviews. When Amazon's own listing is missing a spec we think matters — like charging time or coverage area — we look it up on the manufacturer's official page or in independent lab reviews, and we cite that it came from there rather than presenting it as an Amazon figure.
How the 0-10 scores work
The seven scores you see on every product page and in the radar charts (suction, runtime, navigation, mopping, convenience, quietness, value) are computed from the underlying specs, normalized against the range of every other vacuum in this comparison. They are editorial judgments, not manufacturer ratings, and they get recalculated whenever we add a new vacuum to the catalog.
What we won't do
- We won't invent a spec that isn't published anywhere. If we can't find it, the page shows "—" instead of a guess.
- We won't show a live price. Prices are a snapshot dated on each page — always confirm the current price on Amazon before buying.
- We won't hide that links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. See our affiliate disclosure.
